Training Soldiers for The Royal Canadian Regiment
The RCR Depot – The RCR Battle School – The Land Force Central Area Training Centre
The Royal Canadian Regiment has always maintained a presence in the training of infantry soldiers for employment in the battalions of the Regiment. At various times, this was done in "Young Soldiers' Companies", at a Regimental Depot, a Battle School, and, most recently, as part of the Land Force Central Area Training Centre. The officers and NCOs tasked to execute this training set an example for Regimental excellence that each recruit turned infantry soldier carries forward into their Regimental career.
